My New Addiction : Swap-Bot

Standard

This fall I discovered a new website while I was surfing the internet one night.  I was looking for a site for snail mail pen pals and discovered Swap-Bot.  Swap-Bot is an awesome site where you can sign up and take part in different “swaps” they are called.  Basically you have a certain criteria you have to follow and you get matched with someone to send it to.  For example you might have to send one holiday card and a wrapped teabag to someone you will get matched with who is also a member. Then you will receive a card and teabag too from someone else who was given your address.

Above are some of the swaps I’ve received.

It is such a neat site because it allows you to connect with people from all around the world and exchange items, anything from notecards to postcards, scrapbooking stuff, to huge packages of candy.  I have received stuff from Israel, Germany, France, U.S.A., Norway, Australia and The Philippines.  I recommend you check it out if you like to send and receive mail.
